The
UK headquarters of the Spinal Injuries Association is based in Milton Keynes where
it opened brand new purpose-built offices in 2005.
They provide support to those who are affected by spinal cord injury, including the family and friends of the disabled person. Office Manager Bernadette Murphy explains why Ace was their preferred security contractor.
What were your security requirements?
We wanted an intruder alarm fitted for insurance purposes but we also felt
we needed CCTV cameras within the premises due to the high volume of people using
our facility.
What is your opinion of the service provided?

If
there is a query or problem you get to speak directly to that person and they
will understand exactly what you’re talking about and will resolve it quickly.
There are no frustrating calls to outside call centres and explaining yourself
to different people 10 times, it’s very re-assuring.”
Are you happy with your CCTV installation?
Yes, we feel our security system is a real deterrent for crime. It provides
great peace of mind in our working environment.
Has it benefited you?
Absolutely. We have around 20 staff working here but the office is also used
as a resource centre and library for health professionals and other organisations
using our meeting rooms, so it’s crucial that we are able to keep an eye on who
is coming and going.
