Installing intruder alarms, CCTV systems and access control systems in Dyson’s Demo Stores in the UK and Europe
Dyson is well-known as one of the most innovative technology companies in the world. The Demo Stores have a high-tech, industrial feel with lots of expensive products on display in a gallery-like style. They required a reliable, high-security solution to protect their products, as well as their staff and customers. The systems needed to incorporate the latest technologies to match Dyson’s innovative ethos and had to be installed in a way that didn’t detract from the impressive feel of the space. The work also needed to be carried out with social distancing measures in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
We installed Honeywell Galaxy Intruder Alarms and Axis IP cameras for CCTV surveillance, as well as Milestone XProtect Video Management Software (VMS). We also installed S2 Access Control with Axess readers. All systems were set up to be centrally managed by the security team at the Dyson head office in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. We provided a Project Manager to oversee the installation at each site and ensure it went smoothly.
